يسرنا في مركز خليل السكاكيني الثقافي بدعوتكم لحضور العرض الأول للفيلم التركيبي "يا قدس نحن هنا" في مركز خليل السكاكيني الثقافي، يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 11.7.2017 عند السّاعة 7:30 مساءً، الفليم بالإنجليزية مترجم للعربية.

"ياقدسُ، نحن هنا" هو عمل توثيقي تركيبي يُعيد الفلسطينين رقمياً الى أحيائهم التي طردوا منها عام 1948. يركز العمل على حي القطمون، حيث يبحث المشاركون الفلسطينيون في تاريخ عائلاتهم في القدس لربطه بالحاضر المؤلم للحي.
تمّ العمل على إنتاج مجموعة من الأفلام القصيرة الحزينة والشاعرية، المليئة بالشعور بالحنين والرغبة بالعودة. حيث تم دمج هذه الافلام في جولة إفتراضية، يمكن للمشاهدين في القاهرة والقدس وباريس وتورونتو وأبعد.
بينما نتمشى في شوارع، نستمع الى الأصوات التي كانت تُسمع في الحي تماما كما تم تسجيلها عام 1940. عند الوصول الى منزل كل مشترك، يكون هنالك فيديو او تسجيل صوتي يروي حكاية المكان. يكبر جيل الفلسطينيين الذين نجوا من النكبة، ويمضون وتضيع ذكرياتهم الى الابد، لذلك فإن لتجميع قصصهم والمعلومات التي بحوزتهم، وإعادة رسم الفضاء الذي أعلن منذ ذلك الوقت إسرائيلياً بالكامل، تحتلان أهمية قصوى.

ستشارك في العرض المخرجة دوريت نعمان والمنتجة المشاركة مارينا باريسيرون، بالإضافة إلى مجموعة من المشاركين في العمل، يقودوا الجولة الافتراضية ويجيبوا عن أسئلة الجمهور. بعد العرض سيكون هناك مجال للمشاهدين في المساعدة في التعرف على مواقع جديدة في الحي وإضافة معلومات جديدة على الخارطة. إذا كان لدى المشاهدين اية صور او ملفات عن حي القطمون أو البقعة يمكن إرفاقها بالعمل، سيكون لدى الفريق الادوات اللازمة لذلك. لذلك نرجو منكم احضارهم معكم.

Please join us for a presentation of Jerusalem, We Are Here -- an interactive documentary that digitally brings Palestinians back into the neighborhoods from which they were expelled in 1948.
Focusing primarily on the neighborhood of Katamon, Palestinian participants probed their families' past and engaged with the painful present. Together we produced short, poetic videos, filled with nostalgia, sorrow, and fleeting returns. The films are embedded into a virtual tour where the audience - in Cairo, Jerusalem, Paris, Toronto and beyond.
As we meander down the streets of contemporary Jerusalem, our soundscape is of the 1940s; when we reach the home of each participant, we can watch the video/audio produced. As the generation of Palestinians who survived the Nakba is aging and passing on, there is an urgent need to collect their stories and knowledge, and remap the space that has since been declared entirely Israeli.

Director Dorit Naaman, Associate Producer Marina Parisinou, and participants will be present to guide the “virtual” walk and answer questions. Following the formal presentation we will have an informal session where we hope Jerusalemites will help us identify more houses, and provide information for the map.
