ينطلق مهرجان أيام العلوم في فلسطين 2017 في 17 تشرين الأول/ اكتوبر تحت ثيمة "عصر النثروبوسين - أثر الإنسان على الكرة الأرضية"، وذلك في تمام الساعة 11:00 صباحا في مجمع رام الله الترويحي.
يشمل الافتتاح مجموعة من الأنشطة العلمية والمعروضات التفاعلية حول عصر الأنثروبوسين
على مدار شهر كامل، شاركونا أنشطة وفعاليات علمية تفاعلية تستهدف طلبة المدارس ومحبي العلوم في كافة أرجاء فلسطين لنتعرف على عصر الأنثروبوسين، وهي حقبة جيولوجية جديدة، ظهر حدثت فيها زيادة مضطردة في درجة حرارة الأرض، وتآكل طبقة الأوزون، وزيادة انبعاث غاز ثاني اوكسيد الكربون وغازات أخرى تسبب الإحتباس الحراري، مما ادى الى تغييرات في المناخ والتنوع الحيوي والبيئة، وبالتالي تغييرات ملحوظة على جيولوجيا الأرض.
ينظم المهرجان على مدى شهر كامل في أماكن مختلفة من المدن والبلدات والقرى الفلسطينية، بما فيها:
القدس
رام الله
غزة
قلقيلية
طولكرم
جنين
الخليل
الظاهرية
بيت لحم
أريحا
بيرزيت
نعلين
بيت عور الفوقا
نابلس
نعلين
خان يونس.
وبرافق المهرجان، مهرجان الأفلام العلمية الدولي والذي يضم ما يزيد افلاما من (دول) سيتم عرضها على مدار الشهر.

مهرجان أيام العلوم في فلسطين 2017 يقام بتنظيم وتمويل كلّ من: بلدية رام الله، ومؤسسة النيزك للتعليم المساند والإبداع العلمي، ومؤسسة عبد المحسن القطان، ومعهد غوته، والمعهد الفرنسي، بالشراكة مع مؤسسات محلية عدة.
Science Days Palestine is launched on the 17th of October 2017 at 11:00am in Ramallah Recreation Center under the theme "Anthropocene Era – The Impact of Man on Earth".
The opening will include a number of scientific activities and interactive exhibits about the Anthropocene Era.
Come and join our scientific and interactive activities and events which targets school students and science lovers from all over Palestine. Let's get to know the Anthropocene Era, which is a modern geological era were the steady increase in earth temperature, the erosion of Ozone layer and the increase of Carbon dioxide emissions and other gas's is causing global warming which in turn is causing climate, biodiversity and environmental change and thus noticeable changes in the earths geology.
The festival is organized over an entire month in different Palestinian cities and towns, including:

Qalqilya.
Tulkarm.
Jenin.
Hebron.
Al-Thahiriya
Bethlehem.
Jericho.
Birzeit.
Nilin
Bait Our Alfoqa
Nablus.

The festival will be accompanied by the International Scientific Film festival which will include films from (countries) that will be shown throughout the month.
